sun70 is hosting a Guitar/Instrument Drive w/Guitarist for Good at O'Malley's Pub and Restaurant on Glenwood! Of course, there’s no obligation to donate a guitar to attend and jam along, but if you have something to give, Guitarists for Good will find a home for it.

sun70 is hosting a Guitar/Instrument Drive w/Guitarist for Good at O'Malley's Pub and Restaurant on Glenwood in Raleigh, Sunday, March 10 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm!
Guitarists for Good (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, places instruments in homeless shelters and with organizations serving homeless. We find that homeless musicians find an instrument to be a calming connection during their stay in a shelter. We have placed over 100 instruments in homeless shelters in 7 states and are currently working to recruit more for The Women's Center of Wake County and The Eastern NC School for the Deaf.

We need: Money, Capos, Tuners, Straps, Picks, Tambourines, Shakers, Hand drums, Portable Amps (even ones with a slight problem), We will take electrics, but since they are not as popular, we may sell them to buy more acoustics. Please let me know if you have any questions!
